There are about half a million venues in Manhattan to hold a mega-bucks wedding, but this past weekend I had the pleasure of visiting what might be the most beautiful one on the island.
The Angel Orensanz Foundation began life over a century ago as gorgeous gothic synagogue on New York's Lower East Side. Today, it has been turned into an art studio and museum by internationally recognized sculptor Angel Orensanz. If you have the money, you can hold your nuptials in this stunning space, just like Sarah Jessica Parker and Mathew Broderick (who famously wed there).
By the way, if you bump into the artist himself while exploring the building, don't be surprised if he denies his identity; in addition to being talented, he seems to either be very shy, or have an impish sense of humor.
